Acne is an inflammatory skin disease. Its frequency is higher during adolescence, when the elevated levels of sexual hormones causes the increase of the sebaceous gland units, causing the burst of pimples, blemishes, black spots, mainly on the face, back, chest and shoulders. Acne is characterized by an increase in the secretion of oils, together with the accumulation of dead cells into the hair follicle. This blocks the exit of grease. This liberates some substances which irritate the skin, causing inflammation, and it is a suitable way for the development of bacteria – notably Propionibacterium acnes. Treatment indicated for the removal or mildness of skin stains caused by the sun, pregnancy and acne sequels. It whitens the skin, renovating it. |
